Principal Responsibilities:
1. Leadership:
1.1. Influence On-site Operations teams to improve reliability of the plant assets.
1.2. Supervise local vendor, service specialist, contractors and suppliers
1.3. Collaborate with Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Supervisor and Electrical
Technician in performing electrical job
2. Operations:
2.1. Perform reliability / Safety Audit of electrical systems and related workflows.
2.2. Define and follow up on the resulting actions in collaboration with On-site Operations
Team.
2.3. Provide Electrical Systems technical support to the operating sites and Remote
Operating Centre as required
3. Maintenance
3.1. Implement of approved strategy for the sourcing, replacement, engineering,
maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
This includes:
3.1.1. Defining which activities should be insourced or outsourced
3.1.2. Standardization of equipment and service providers (incl. frame contracts)
3.1.3. Identification, selection & development of service providers
3.2. Identification of obsolescence issues and report to line manager for planning &
execution of suitable upgrade & exchange programs
3.3. Implement of application and ongoing management of condition-based maintenance
strategies and the associated data
3.4. Ensure that maintenance for electrical systems is adequate, cost efficient and in
compliance to Linde work processes
3.5. develop of electrical scope of work during major turnarounds
3.6. Create, Review and Improve maintenance task in CMMS SAP for the entire electrical
equipment
Projects/Modifications
4.1. Project/Modification
4.1.1. Plan and carry out engineering program, including development of design,
calculation, creating EMOC and technical review.
4.1.2. Strongly documenting technical requirement in Scope of Work and Bill of
Material.
4.1.3. Do and review Tender by creating Technical Bidding Evaluation (TBE).
4.1.4. Coordinate activities concerning technical developments, scheduling, and
resolution of engineering design and problems.
4.1.5. Continuous Improvement of Maintaining fixed plant
4.1.6. Coordinate and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing,
controlling, integrating, and completing engineering projects within area of
assigned responsibility.
4.1.7. Perform, coordinate and supervise project execution and control, including
tender process, evaluation, administration, and site construction, i.e.,
fabrication, installation, commissioning, and quality assurance/quality
control.
4.1.8. Assess risks on the project and implement controls.
4.1.9. Schedule and monitor project progress.
4.1.10. Prepare and submit report to Line manager on project progress status on a
regular basis.
4.1.11. Demonstrate and encourage acceptance and implementation of LINDE HSE
programs and practices.
4.1.12. Control expenditures within limitations of project budget.
4.1.13. Create Project Closing Document which is include:
- Background of project
- Purpose
- Saving Cost
- Battery Limit
- Weekly, Monthly and Yearly Report
- Costing
- Schedule Time
- As-built Drawing
implement action plan; measure results; standardize; and continue the same
process to other costly or inefficient programs using continuous improvement
methods.
4.1.15. Develop and/or review all major modifications and configuration changes to
the electrical systems.
4.1.16. Ensure update of the related plant documents in document management
system after modification
4.2. For electrical systems of new plants or process units:
4.2.1. Ensure relevant requirements are defined and reviewed by members of the team
4.2.2. Ensure electrical system structures & vendors are compliant with Linde standards
and specific project/site requirements
4.2.3. Participate in relevant project reviews and acceptance (incl. factory and site
acceptance tests, handover of systems)
4.2.4. Ensure maintenance teams are trained to operate, maintain and troubleshoot the
new systems
4.2.5. Ensure all necessary documents are handed over, are of good quality and are
stored in the Linde Gas Global Document Management system in a standardized
way
4.2.6. Collaborate with vendors & service providers to ensure alignment with Linde
maintenance teams for troubleshooting and service.
4.2.7. Support implementation of the 'Integrate new assets' workflow and ensure it is
applied through the Country Cluster with respect to electrical systems
4.3. Troubleshooting
4.3.1. Provide the site teams with necessary expert in electrical support for emergency
situations
4.3.2. Doing local investigation of electrical system related trips
4.3.3. Prepare contingency plans for site
4.3.4. Develop root cause failure analysis for minor and major or repeated downtimes
4.3.5. Implement learnings from incidents to Reliability Improvement team and LFREs’
4.4. Reporting/Performance Management
4.4.1. Downtime reporting of electrical system failures at sites to Line Manager
4.4.2. Reporting of internal and external maintenance cost
4.4.3. Reporting of open actions for sites and provide direct support for site teams to
close actions.
4.4.4. Report implementation status of initiatives resulting from alerts, Lessons from
Reliability Events and directives
4.5. Inter-Department
4.5.1. Support Safety Department to implement safety program in plant in related
electrical safety
4.5.2. Create hazard report in Synergy
4.5.3. Support finance team to develop cost and benefit analysis for project or
improvement and determining project progress for invoicing.
4.5.4. Support mechanical team for any job that required electrical support.
4.5.5. Support OPD team in providing electrical plant data, project support, project
execution and commissioning etc.
4.5.6. Support Procurement team in tender process, auction of electrical equipment,
specification of equipment or material, appointment of contractor, technical
audit for new contractor/vendor/service company.
4.5.7. Support administration staff in document handling related to electrical license,
certificate and permit
4.5.8. Support operation team in technical knowledge of controlling electrical risk and
hazard and provide any technical solution of electrical issue.
4.5.9. Implement of alerts, Lessons from Reliability Events and directives
4.5.10.Support IT in troubleshoot of IT issue.
4.5.11.Support Warehouse team related to upgrade stock spare part, obsolescence,
technical data spare part, review quantity of spare part stock and creating new
stock of spare part

iv. Computer literate, particularly with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project,
and other related application tools/software, CMMS
v. Experience on overhaul, maintenance and installation of Transformer, Medium and Low
Voltage Motor, Generator, and Switchgear.
vi. Familiar with Standards and Codes such as IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc.
