Job description
In your new role you will:
- Well verse about material flow and workspace planning: to develop an efficient supply chain plant layout considering products, material flow, equipment, and utility requirements.
- Conduct time studies by breaking job elements to document the existing state. Develop the future state in order to optimize the process.
- Execute future state on the manufacturing floor.
- Able to identify process bottlenecks through Lean Manufacturing and Theory of
- Constraints (TOC) application and drive productivity improvement to remove blockages.
- Ensure all activities within their control area are conducted in a manner that complies with environmental control procedures and does not create unnecessary environmental impacts.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or related fields.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Theory of Constraints.
- Candidates must have a high degree of attention to ensure data quality in equipment capacity analysis and planning.
- Strong proficiency in analytical and problem-solving.
- Strong proficiency in English and effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in MS office and familiar with Minitab, Autocad Basic, Inventor, MTM 2.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
