Situated in Senayan Square at the South end of Jakarta's Central Business District, Fairmont Jakarta will feature 380 spacious guestrooms and 108 Fairmont branded suites. Additional features and amenities to the urban hotel include a number of lounges and several restaurants featuring a variety of culinary offerings. - Perform massage while maintaining the client’s comfort at all times.
- Perform all 30, 60 and 90 minute body treatments, Facials, body treatments as certified/trained to do so.
- Be on time for appointments and thoroughly review appointments after completing each treatment.
- Keep work area clean and neat at all times.
- Maintain an ample supply of massage oils, alcohol, towels, sheets, and other necessary supplies in a neat and orderly fashion within the massage work area. Preparation of kits as required/needed.
- Courteously interact and answer all facility-related questions with Members and Guests.
- Assist in the co-ordination of spa services with other spa programs.
- Ensure awareness of current trends in body treatment and facials industry.
- Serve as catalyst to promote spa services to Members and hotel Guests.
- Maintain current professional licenses.
- Work with Spa Supervisor/Lead Therapist in the formulation of plans for projects and other areas.
- Well versed in all aspects of the Spa's operations i.e. business telephone usage, guest relations, retail sales, spa services (massage, loofah, facial etc.).
- Maintain inventory of supplies for the operation of the treatment rooms.
- Maintain accurate records as required by hotel and government regulations.
- Graduate from an accredited school of massage with a massage license.
- Experience in the hospitality industry an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in spa therapist.
- Recognized certification in aesthetics/ massage/body treatments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Desire to provide fantastic guest experiences.
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
- Service oriented with an eye for details.
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
- Good presentation and influencing skills.
- Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures.
- Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively.
- Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated and energetic.
