About the role
We are excited to announce that we are recruiting for the newly created position Technical Specialist Engineer (TSE).
Based in our office in Balikpapan, Indonesia and working on office and mine site locations amongst an inclusive, friendly and supportive team of industry professionals.
The Technical Specialist Engineer (TSE) is a company representative at various client sites within the Indonesia and South East Asia region providing training and technical expertise, maintenance and repairs, and support of GroundProbe's products and business development both locally and globally in surface and underground environments.
What you will be doing
- Install and integrate GroundProbe's products as required for customers;
- Commission and decommission GroundProbe's products
- Organize and Perform external Demonstrations on GroundProbe's productsCommercial in Confidence;
- Follow up on Demonstrations to ensure successful outcome for customers and GroundProbe;
- Train users on Deployment, Operation and Maintenance of GroundProbe's products;
- Provide on-site training and technical support to customers;
- Maintain GroundProbe's products minimising downtime and meeting customer needs;
- Perform technical support work on GroundProbe technologies at remote sites and from GroundProbe's office.
- Degree in Engineering; Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Geotechnical discipline(s);
- Hold Current Indonesia Passport with the ability to obtain Visa's for international travel;
- Extensive relevant technical work experience in a customer service-based organisation or similar;
- 0-3 years' experience in working in mining industry.
