Royal Service Agent

The Royal Service Agent is the heart beat of the hotel operation. They will process all external and internal calls either by redirecting calls or assisting the caller. The Royal Service Agent will take ownership of the caller’s request and ensure follow up according to the hotel’s standards. To serve as a liaison for Guests requiring information relating to all aspects of the hotel. To maintain the hotel’s telephone system and assisting all external and internal Guests in operating the telephone system.

Hotel Overview

The Royal Service Agent is the heart beat of the hotel operation. They will process all external and internal calls either by redirecting calls Situated in Senayan Square at the South end of Jakarta's Central Business District, Fairmont Jakarta will feature 380 spacious guestrooms and 108 Fairmont branded suites. Additional features and amenities to the urban hotel include a number of lounges and several restaurants featuring a variety of culinary offerings. For corporate events and local galas, the hotel features 3,500 square meters of function space, including a 1,200 square meter ballroom.

What you will be doing:
  • Deliver friendly and efficient telephone services
  • As bridge between guest and operations department
  • Provide information on hotel services and promote internal outlets
  • Accuracy in handling guest requests and inquiries
  • Ensure all requests logged in "Royal Service" software are followed up according to the hotel's standard
  • Maintain and monitor service quality through Royal Service System
Your experience and skills include:
  • Certificate or diploma in hospitality or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the hotel industry
  • Familiar with PABX and telephone system is advantage
  • Experience with Opera PMS is an advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees
  • Service oriented with an eye for details
  • Fluency in English required (verbal & written)
  • Excellent telephone manners, telephone voice
  • Strong typing and clerical skills, organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi task and work efficiently
  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively
  • Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment
  • Have a sufficient working knowledge of all departments, in particular Housekeeping, Front Office and Engineering
  • Self-motivated and energetic
