About the role
If you are looking to be a part of a dynamic, highly analytical team with an opportunity to build Indonesia’s Digital Ecosystem in areas of funding & capital market strategy, valuation analysis, and trends in the industry, this may be your next journey. As our Corporate Development Expert, you will have a front seat to INDICO Group’s strategy & most important decisions in Investment & Corporate Development standpoint. You will be exposed to a multitude of situations in financial analysis, investor relations, deal structuring, M&A, strategic partnerships, and more.
What You will do but not limited to:
- Provide financial and strategic analysis related to the Company’s funding and capital markets strategy, M&A, investment opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Develop financial models and valuation analyses that help guide the decision-making process
- Conduct industry and market research related to trends, risks, opportunities and competitive landscape
- Participate in deals end-to-end, including strategy development, deal negotiation & structuring, due diligence and coordinating with finance, legal, tax and other departments to ensure seamless deal execution
- Create investment memorandums and related presentations for BOD, BOC, and shareholders
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc investor and management reporting
- Maintaining close tabs on the capital markets (networking with potential investors) and developing pitching materials for potential investors
- Minimum 4-5 years private equity / venture investments / investment banking / startup fundraising / corporate development / management consulting and/or related experience. Experience in a tech company or venture investments will be a major plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Finance or Business-related fields
- Excellent understanding of Digital Landscape specifically in Indonesia & SEA
- Thoughtful and client-savvy, able to understand nuances of startups and fundraisings with a strong network of relationship with start-up investors (e.g., VC, PE)
- Good grasp of accounting, finance, and legal/tax considerations in M&A process and corporate finance
- Ability to manage confidential and highly sensitive information with the highest levels of discretion and professionalism
- Completely self-directed and excellent at effectively managing time, defining work packages, and prioritizing work for self and others
- Hands-on mentality, ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset
- Solid analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with high level of attention to details
- Strong communications and collaboration skills. Excellent (native-equivalent) verbal and written fluency English and Bahasa Indonesia
