- Establish and maintain effective formal and informal links with major customers, suppliers, key decision-makers and other stakeholders generally, to ensure that the company is maximising opportunities and providing the appropriate range and quality of products and services.
- Responsible for selecting and steering distributors in distributor-served markets, monitoring their performance and gather market intelligence from them; evaluating and implementing alternative GTM models
- Represent the company in negotiations with customers, government departments and other key contacts to secure for it the most effective contract terms.
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
- Develop and direct the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the company complies with all health and safety, corporate compliance and other statutory regulations.
- 10+ years of working experiences within life science/IVD/consumables
- A proven record of success in sales/commercial and/or general management
- A wide knowledge and commercial experience of the life science, clinical pathology and diagnostic markets and changing business environments.
- Good understanding of financial management and wider management principles and techniques.
- A proven ability to devise, implement, monitor and adapt strategies to deliver positive results against defined goals and targets.
