Purpose
You will provide process engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the process engineering team.
Primary objective
- To carry out the Technical Integrity role for the Process discipline
- To ensure all design work is safe and carried out in a safe manner
- To ensure all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standards.
- To develop and maintain a quality design threshold for the Process discipline through use of understandable quality procedures
- To ensure all Process work is carried out within established budgets and schedules
- To provide definition of the Process engineering work in the Project, design approach or criteria by skill and experience as directed by the Process Manager
- Will responsible for one of the areas – CO2 Compression, Gas Compression, Power Plant and Utilities
- Leading team of engineers/designers, checking approving the work done, coordinating interface with other disciplines along with executing critical work assigned by the Process Manager
- Liaison with other Discipline Lead Engineers on technical issues and engineering matters
- Co-ordination and preparation of input to Essential Process Documents, as defined by the client/ contract. Where responsibility for update of the Master Documents is handed to the Area Process Engineer, procedures shall be put in place to maintain document integrity
- Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems
- Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
What you will bring
- 15 years’ experience in the similar capacity with the focus being on Onshore and Offshore conceptual, FEED and detailed design in the Oil & Gas Industry covering CO2/Gas Compression and Combined Cycle Power Plant
- Computer skills particularly of process simulation packages such as HYSYS and in commercial software including databases, spreadsheets and word processing packages
- Experience in the development of process flow diagrams, heat and mass balances and piping and instrument diagrams, and in sizing and specification of equipment including separators, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers and dehydration units
- A good working knowledge of the codes and standards relating to the onshore oil and gas industry particularly the API recommended practices and ASME/ANSI pipe and pressure vessel codes
- Bachelor/Master degree in Chemical Engineering. Chartered Engineer (IChemE, IEAust or equivalent) or Member of Appropriate Engineering Institution
- Proven ability to work with a minimal supervision
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Willing to work on single status and eligible to work in Indonesia, on a 12 months contract with potential extension
