- Act as regulatory advisor in building and defending the category
- Manage the appropriate regulatory submissions and premarket registration, and interact with health authorities to obtain and maintain product approvals
- Responsible for coordination & preparation of regulatory submissions and strategies
- Support product development teams and other product development initiatives
- Provide regulatory guidance to departments or development project teams regarding design, development, evaluation, or marketing of products
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant product regulations and emerging trends, including proposed and final rules including: product / Food Law & Regulations (Composition, Registration, Labelling...), Consumer, Advertising Law & Regulations (Claims, benefits, promotion...), Intellectual Property, Legislative & Regulatory Advocacy (Industry associations, Regulatory bodies..), Halal assurance requirements
- Work closely with R&D to implement regulatory strategy for product innovations including new ingredients, local studies etc
- Work closely with Government & Scientific Affairs team to ensure key scientific projects and developments are aligned or joined to support the regulatory team / product claim strategy
- Bachelor Degree in Food Technology or Biochemistry or Pharmacy
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification regulatory experience with S1 in Food Technology or Biochemistry
- Strong Regulatory experience
- Strong external network with key stakeholders
