Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational machinery company with a core focus on energy sector. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a Head of Technical professional with at least 20 years' experience with a multinational company for the job of Head of Technical Turbo Machinery. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Directly reports to the Head of Plant and Services
- Monitor, follow up, and report on technical turbo machinery
- Plan and develop maintenance activities on turbo machinery and ensure their implementation is in accordance with the plan to support production achievement
- Reviewing and monitoring the maintenance plan for the effectiveness and efficiency of workshop and manpower in the turbo machinery repairment
- Together with other departments, analyze and evaluate operation and efficiency results and problems to find solutions so that the production process is carried out effectively
- Provide instructions related to maintenance and repair activities and their relationship with the surrounding community in a good and effective manner
- Conduct thorough inspections of workers, sites and tools to ensure all processes are according to schedule and design
- Reviewing, revising and approving monthly maintenance reports to ensure the data presented is accurate and timely
- Ensure equipment that consumes energy is used according to the specified needs
- Implementing safety, occupational health and environmental (K3L) regulations in the work area
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 20 years combined experience in turbo machinery maintenance with knowledge of repair and maintenance processes
- Have strong experienced with a turbo machinery maintenance
- Have a strong knowledge of any kind of turbine
- Skill on overall general management with a focus on turbine and maintenance
- Possess leadership to head the team
- Strong ability to coordinate and communicate with his team and also across to other departments/ companies (matrix organization)
- Capability to work independently (analyse, plan, action, control) with initiative and creativity to ensure operational excellence
- English language, international business experience highly desirable
- Experienced professional with an entrepreneurial character and a "hands-on approach."
- Team player, positive attitude, hands-on and high flexibility
- Willing to travel frequently to all workshop and customer site
