We are searching for a Country Sales Manager, Indonesia, who possesses the leadership skills to operate effectively in a matrix environment and have confidence in driving aggressive growth plans. THE ROLE

This is a senior role responsible for devising, developing and executing strategy / plans together with functional teams to accelerate growth plans in Indonesia.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is responsible to develop effective business plan and growth strategy for Indonesia.
The responsibilities of the role are to provide direction to implement the most effective go to market strategy, drive key customer relationships, key project negotiations, delivery and partner engagement activities to support efforts in achieving sales, EBITDA and market share growth. The role shall devise tactics to increase market coverage and continuously enhance efficiency to make a fair profit. In addition, this role is to support key tasks, including marketing, strategic planning aligned with global / regional vision and aspirations.

The assigned territories include Automotive and Industrial Power Transmission and Hydraulics first fit and aftermarket business in Indonesia. This individual is expected to manage and accelerate the existing business.

The Country Manager, Indonesia's specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:

Maximum 3 pointers per accountability

Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)
  • Develop the strategy to grow share of wallet for targeted account
  • Develop application expertise for direct selling to key stakeholders and influencers
  • Build and sustain relationships up to and including key C-level executives for key customers, proven track record demonstrating their understanding and business acumen.
Accountability #2: Process / Performance
  • Solid understanding of sales and financial planning is essential as this role involves monthly sales and business reporting, reporting budgets as well as producing financial reports.
  • Develop robust sales strategies by segment via in-depth understanding of market trends and competitive landscape
  • Lead account planning activities and to assist local teams with sales engagements and application support
  • Develop channel coverage by market segment and support countries to develop right partners
  • Develop direct channel sales and marketing skills and competencies metrics
  • Develop standard enterprise selling process, opportunities and pipelines management
Accountability #3: People
  • Build effective sales team, providing guidance and coaching to improve sales team's effectiveness and productivity.
  • Support Talent acquisition, assessment, development, retention and succession planning
  • Provide a safe work environment and lead by example to advocate our CORE values and culture

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

This person must have hands on experience supporting expansion plans and business transformation
in this region. Must have hands on channel experience for Indonesia market and be able to
directly lead Greenfield geographical expansion plans in the country.
  • Minimum 15 years related experience in enterprise sales and/or business development preferably with IPT market experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset that acts within the corporate guidelines
  • Strategic thinking and planning with sound commercial acumen
  • Key account sales planning and sales engagement
  • Previous major account selling experience required
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills
