Manulife Indonesia Senior Health Analytics reporting into the Head of Health Strategy & Analytics. This is a newly created role which will establish the analytics function of our Health businesses, which is key to driving focus for health-specific use cases. Health Analytics department use vast amounts of collected data to provide Manulife Health team with actionable insights that are developed through analytical disciplines to drive fact-based decision making. In turn, these decisions improve planning, management, measurement and learning.

- University Degree graduated preferably in science, statistics, management or related areas
- At least 5 years’ experience with area of analytics in financial industries
- Strong in analytics skill, statistics knowledge and communication skill.
- Experienced in targeting models and programming language (SAS, SPSS, VB)
- Good in presentation skill
- Ability to build and manage relationships with the key internal stakeholders
1. Establish a bold ambition and continuously develop a roadmap for Health Analytics as a function
2.Provide support to the Health team by providing data reporting needs, independently performing reporting
related tasks, selecting the best methodology to achieve the results identified in a plan of work or project
3. Responsible for collecting information based on facts, perform analyzes and makes recommendations that
will be used by others. Dissect and compare any given situation/problem with previous situations to identify a
pattern, the root of cause and develop a corrective action plan. Collects statistical data internal and external
with the purpose of providing information and recommendations to management for decision-making
- Claim dashboard: comprehensive report and actionable insights
- Health team KPI: cost containment savings, business volume (premium & lives), loss ratio, core earnings
- Quarterly Deep Dives with regional health team and other Manulife market
- Targeting model (product, purchase propensity, claim triage)
- Analysis on portfolio trends (claim, customer demography, coverage preference)
- Analysis on market landscape (sizing, market share, competitor analysis)
- Analysis on cost and benefit for innovations, automation, and revenue-generating initiatives
6. Adopt new technology/approach on analytics area.
Individual Accountabilities:
- Develops new reports, dashboards and other means to enable transparency and to provide timely information to senior management regarding health-related topics.
- Identifies indicators and interprets statistical data to detect, correct and prevent situations that may negatively impact the health team’s performance.
- Manages projects related to obtaining providers related data, analysis and interpretation.
- Coordinates plans and executes the reporting of data for the industry of health insurance (PAMJAKI)
- Produces and analyzes comparative statistical reports for internal and external data and identify trends, patterns, or fluctuations, and recommends future action for the team.
- Tracks trends reflected in the data and the outcome of the recommendations accepted by management.
- Coordinates with other areas to obtain requested data when it is not readily available.
- Responds to Ad hoc reporting requests by creating reports as needed for specific situations
- Understands key network strategic initiatives and collaborate where appropriate to achieve strategic results.
