About the Company:
A leading player in the airline and transportation space is currently seeking a driven senior operations head as they ramp up their operations and continue their expansion in Indonesia.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the ground handling suppliers and supporting airport companies and operations, across multiple sites
- Ensure compliance, cost control and operational performance
- Identify all new opportunities for operational improvement and/or cost savings in the nominated area of responsibility.
- Contribution to preparation of standard operations SOPs
- Support the Ground Operations team in activities, as required.
- To monitor Ground Operations including all airports and collaborate with all relevant authority to ensure smooth passenger handling flow and Cargo operations in the warehouse and aircraft operations.
- 8-10 years’ experience in ground operations and demonstrable experience in outsourced operational management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local Civil Aviation requirements and standardization, norms, guidance, criteria, system and procedures within airport/ground handling operations
- Proven experience in the aviation industry – primarily operational, but also commercial
