Responsibilities for System Administrator
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of infrastructure.
- Responsible for investigating and mitigating various Cyber Attacks to provide the RCA.
- Install, configure, and upgrade various components of the server as per product requirements.
- Responsible for troubleshooting various issues and doing root cause analysis.
- Responsible for monitoring the infrastructure and proactively fixing the issue before affecting the overall performance.
- Participating in 24x7 and on-call support rotation to provide round-the-clock support to support our product.
- Responsible for providing technical solutions as per requirements.
- Document problems and their resolutions, prioritize problems and assess various impacts caused by the issues.
- Responsible for regular backup operations and implementing appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
Qualifications for System Administrator
- 5+ years of solid experience in system administration specifically cyber security and web hosting experience.
- Must have strong knowledge and good experience in Linux (Ubuntu). Certification would be a plus.
- Must have good experience with Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, and GCP. Certifications would be a plus.
- Strong knowledge of scripting like Bash and Python and automation tools like Ansible.
- Should have knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Should be able to install, configure, and troubleshoot applications on the Linux platform.
- Must have knowledge of K8s.
- Must have good experience with monitoring software like Zabbix.
- Must have good knowledge of cyber security. Certification would be a plus.
- Should have good knowledge and experience working with Linux servers, web servers like Nginx, DNS, working firewalls, and any other defense tools for DDoS attacks.
- Should have 1+ years of experience working with DDoS attacks, abuse, phishing, DNS stuff, and other network components.
- Experienced Engineer with a proven track record in delivering the entire lifecycle from technical requirements capture, documentation, build, and handover into operations.
- Has good knowledge of Cyber Security Attacks and mitigations.
- Good knowledge of Cloud Providers like Azure, GCP, and AWS
- Good Scripting skills in Bash/Python.
- Good knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Can manage to work rotational shifts environment.
