About the Digital Product Manager Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Digital Product Manager will play a key role in the Product team's continued development and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create compelling and innovative customer-led insurance product propositions for distribution through digital channels - such as e-commerce, digital partnerships and direct digital channels
- Ensure significant input of customer needs insight into the process by working closely with the Customer Knowledge team, as well as utilising other sources, to understand and anticipate customer needs and behaviour
- Project manage the delivery of propositions (and products where necessary) from inception to sales, including: defining the business requirements - partnering with the distribution, technical, technology, operations, and other cross-functional teams
- Ensure smooth submission and approval of new developments through the regulator (working with the Compliance teams)
- Assist in the development of governance, policy and procedures
- Work closely with multiple key stakeholders across different channels to secure their buy-in
- Update, refresh and continuously improve the customer proposition
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university with a minimum of five years' experience in product/proposition development
- Excellent project management skills and comfortable working with digital and technology
- Superb ability to work cross-functionally and manage diverse stakeholders
- Track record of understanding of customer behaviour, needs analysis
- Understanding of financial / regulated industry a added value
- Ability to think strategically and to innovatively shape and communicate new concepts as defined by group
- Thorough knowledge of acquisition, retention and cross sell concepts and strategies across all channels
- Strong understanding of commercial objectives and how the role contributes to delivering these goals
- Ability to act as a team player, handling many competing and complex demands at the same time
- Strong strategic planning, problem solving, lateral thinking, negotiations, project management, team building, and organisational skills
