Job Description

The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
  • Improve portfolio quality and optimize risk adjusted return dynamics through development of effective portfolio management strategy, including increase / decrease of exposure based on segment performance within the portfolio.
  • Review of portfolio/ environment indicators for pre-emptive portfolio strategy development.
  • Add value by giving suitable cost solution to stakeholders on business planning and strategy scenario; monthly trend analysis, identifying risk and opportunities.
Business
  • High level of business partnership and engagement to ensure alignment and implementation of the strategic agenda. Actively engaging business in portfolio activation and intervention initiatives.
  • Responsible for account, portfolio and LTV and collateral monitoring and review.
  • Producing and reviewing reports for WM Lending and any requested data.
  • Responsible to ensure all country policy, group policy and local regulation related with WM lending implemented.
  • Performing gap analysis against group policy, country policy and local regulations. Including escalation of any deviations for any gap identified, ensuring approvals are in place and tracking action plans.
  • Performing any system related reviews, such as SPEED matrix certification, EUC.
  • Demonstrating business partnership and engagement with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and implementation of any initiatives, not limited to solving any issues related with WM Lending.
  • Responsible for updating country policy (CCPM), related DOI, procedure or SLA align with business strategy and Group policies.
Processes
  • Implement cost saving Cost saving on training, travel cost, seat count/ relocation, event/ meeting, stationary, people activities, team’s transportation, (9) MMI, others.
  • Responsible for reimbursement business expenses, operational expenses, validating T&E claim.
  • Responsible for travel arrangement and ensure comply with latest policy.
  • Responsible for validating eProcurement requests, monthly T&E report, carpooling & taxi usage, MMI, etc.
  • Taking phone calls, enquiries and request and handling them when appropriate.
  • Diary management & TOR (for CCH, RB Risk internally, regulatory meetings, etc.).
  • Event planning (people activities agenda, annual offsite training, CSR activities.
  • Office management.
  • Travel planner & arrangement: visa, airport assistance, transport, general assistance, and agenda for group visit and CCH + team’s business trip.
  • Maintain office filings.
  • Liaising with suppliers, vendors.
  • Responsible for providing attrition data for AFPQR and updating team’s organization chart.
  • Responsible for LSPP process Risk team and other training arrangement.
  • Responsible for updating DOA (CCH’s, travel DOA) and POA.
  • Facilitate internal communication (e.g., distribute information, report status, etc.).
  • Support the control and assurance review to policy and processes within Credit Retail Risk functions to ensure all properly implemented and aligned with Country Regulatory and Group Credit Risk Policy and Procedures.
  • Contribute to design of credit process around portfolio activation/ intervention and drive automation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of acquisition and portfolio management process.
  • Work closely with other units within Credit Department and other stakeholders outside Credit Department to support overall credit and business initiatives and strategy.
People and Talent
  • Responsible for people activities agenda and team engagement.
  • Ensure all staffs are completing Risk Management certification as per required level.
Risk Management
  • Perform continuous monitoring on new booking and portfolio performance and take necessary actions to ensure the quality of new booking and portfolio are within budgeted credit parameter.
  • Review of portfolio indicators for pre-emptive acquisition and portfolio strategy development.
  • Identify and escalate when any risk and control weakness become apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe, escalated through the relevant stakeholders, and resolved timely.
Governance
  • Compliance Areas in PCF (Prudential Compliance Framework) owned by CRO – CPBB:
  • Category 2. Eligible Residential property, Commercial property, and other physical collateral for credit protection
  • Category 3. Financial collateral, deposits with third parties and life insurance (Funded credit protection)
  • Category 4. Eligible Credit Derivatives and Guarantees for credit protection (Unfunded credit protection)
  • Category 5. Credit Risk Mitigation for RWA (Principles of CRM)
  • Category 6. Receivable financing (IRB only)
  • Category 8. Aggregation rules for SME and Retail exposures
  • Category 10. Data Assurance and RWA Monitoring
Details as per Appendix 4 – Prudential Compliance Framework.
  • Supervise policy alignment and ensure the policy is communicated and executed properly.
  • Ensuring compliance with the highest standards of regulatory and business conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements.
  • Support the conduct of audits both from internal and external, including performing and monitoring any action items from audit findings.
