An exciting Head of HR (based in North Jakarta) job opportunity has just become available at a leading fashion retail company in the North Jakarta area. This position will oversee the end-to-end HR operations.
About the Head of HR (based in North Jakarta) Role:
Reporting to the Director, you will focus on leading the HR department processes and driving people management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the human resources programmes and initiatives are implemented effectively and efficiently
- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
- Coach, mentor and support staff members to identify their individual strengths and development needs
- Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys and keep the strategy up to date
- Design and implement employee retention strategies
- Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
- Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
Key Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in human resources management, psychology or a business-related subject
- Vast working knowledge of all HR departmental areas, including reward and recognition, welfare, learning and development as well as HR systems and budgets
- Good knowledge of employment regulations and HR practices
- Ability to develop and nurture relationships across departments
- A proactive attitude and a passion for leading with integrity
- Ability to accept and provide feedback, be challenged on advice and work well under pressure
