About the Department
The Balance Sheet Risk Management function is managing interest rate and liquidity risks arise from banking activities.
Job Responsibilities
1. Provide the relevant committees with a support function that independently assesses the liquidity risk and IRRBB exposures of the bank, and provide senior management with independent and timely risk assessment; * Establish, implement, maintain, improve and communicate a consistent liquidity risk management and IRRBB frameworks. The framework includes liquidity risk management policy and procedures, limit structure, delegation of authority, measurement and assumptions and stress testing;
- Perform independent liquidity and interest rate risks analysis and reviews;
- Monitor and report daily liquidity risk and IRRBB profiles against authorized limits; escalate to relevant approval parties for any breaches of limits.
- Provide adequate documentation to demonstrate the thought processes behind the design and development of model types;
- Reviewing model performance and updates/changes to the models
- Manage ALCO meetings.
- FVP level.
- Have robust knowledge in the area of balance sheet risk management, accounting and finance.
- Able to communicate with all level of stakeholders including but not limited to Global Market, Finance, IT and Operations.
- Able to identify key balance sheet risks and issues raised from external, new product developments and transactions.
- Experience in balance sheet risk and related fields for at least 7 years.
