- To monitor market trends + competitor activity, identifying opportunities while developing + nurturing our carrier base.
- To deliver operational excellence across the business unit, continuously optimizing operations by implementing standard processes + best practices.
- To be actively involved in motivating + leading the team across a range of people related activities.
- Ensure quality standards services
- Direct the activities of staff in relation to transport operations within the company on duties like dispatching and tracking/monitoring of transportation vehicles
- Vendor audit and assessment
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Monitor the general operations of staff of the transportation department to make sure that their operations are within the guidelines, safety measures, government orders, and administrative policies
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licence
- Oversee all operation to monitor compliance with road safety regulations
- Involve in the negotiation and authorization of contracts and other forms of purchases and procurements that are related to the company's transportation needs
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
- Develop important indicators that measure and show the effectiveness of the company's transportation operations
- Review the work progress on daily basis
- Minimum 3 years' experience as Transportation/Trucking Manager
- Familiar with CW1 Operating System will be an advantages
- Must know well, familiarize, extensive experience in Indonesia Road Transport Routes and regulation
- Expertise in road freight, market conditions, customer requirements, operations background
- Strategically provide road freight solution, proposal, innovation to customer
- Professional negotiation skill with carrier partners and familiar with KPIs also be supporting function for Air/Sea/Clearance department
- This role requires someone who has a high level of customer orientation combined with commercial acumen to deliver a high level service to a range of customers in order to grow the business to its full potential
- Self-disciplined and self-motivated to produce aggressive results
- Leading through a matrix structure
- Must be able to establish a clear vision and goals, demonstrate and lead team members to achieve their goals.
- Must be able to create and implement solutions to meet customer needs + expectations.
