- Lead and guide a team of underwriters in day-to-day operations
- Collect, review, and analyze applications relevant history and records
- Obtain information about applications to determine coverage needs
- Determine level of risk for insuring
- Offer recommendations on whether or not to approve an application
- Help agents determine premium costs
- Evaluate claims for accuracy and the coverage amount
- Undergraduate degree (preferably technical)
- 5+ years relevant experience in underwriting general insurance products
- Strong knowledge of underwriting terms and regulations
- Certified AAIK or AAAIK
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Bahasa and English
