Overall Purpose/Roles
This position main responsible to partner with the Country Leadership Team (CLT) to plan and drive organization wide strategy, and transformational change to ensure the Company is positioned for sustained success. This is a pivotal role in the Company’s business, influencing and shaping the development and realization of our business operation strategy.
The incumbent will PLAN, MONITORING, ANALYSIS and EXECUTE all designated projects at speed and with agility that produce measurable returns to the bottom line; being a pace setter to bring strategy to life; playing a key role in modelling the transformation of the Company, guiding the overall strategy, and structurally changing the way work gets done within our business
Specific Roles and Responsibilities, but not limited to
Leadership of Company Strategy
- As the trusted partner of the Company in setting strategic priorities and identify metrics for success.
- Coordination of CLT priorities in alignment with strategy; Facilitation of strategic planning process and development of strategy to ensure alignment with local, regional and global priorities and environment (e.g. aligned with New Strategic Framework)
- Oversight of key projects and priorities emanating from strategy, and reporting locally to Managing Director/CLT and to Region/others as required to ensure delivery and outcomes are achieved
- Bringing external best practice and perspectives into the organization
- Development of metrics and accountabilities and establishment of monitoring and tracking for project realization: examples include New Ways of Working, Digital and Data Realization and Best People and Company and other such strategic priorities
- Work with global and regional teams, to help the Company in evaluating, planning and implement New Ways of Working, including provide recommendations for adoption of new work practices, to strengthening people & organization culture in partnership with HR & Leadership Team.
- Identification and facilitation of team/other workshops to streamline and simplification of legacy processes, policies and other barriers that inhibit progress include the development of sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.
- Leadership and role modelling behaviors as an agent of change; upskilling the organization in new ways of working.
- Lead the development of content for regional, global reviews and for external needs of the Managing Director. Includes partnership with Communication colleagues to deliver on aligned organizational goals and quality standards
- In collaboration with Finance facilitate the delivery of the annual Profit Plan and associated forecasts and financial and business reporting
- Development of, and leadership of the CLT Development/Change Plan, in consultation with HR, including brokering solutions with HRD/OD Manager for CLT development
- Facilitate, monitor and reporting of scorecards to Managing Director and CLT for region and global in conjunction with Finance, working closely with CCOD Department
- Leverage key internal mechanisms and oversee governance to aid in strategy & culture realization Eg. CLT Meetings and agendas, Off Site CLT meetings, CLT meeting follow up action, CLT Prioritization Process and Senior Leader Forum planning team
- Ad hoc: develop appropriate content and materials for town halls, HQ visits, and other engagements involving the Managing Director & Act as a representative of the Managing Director on working groups and task forces identified by the Managing Director.
