Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. Job Description:
The Export/Import & Master Data Supervisor is a critical Deliver Operations role that manages all the imported Inbound Freight through Sea/Air. The EXIM Supervisor would be the key POC for all Trade Compliance related assessment and execution within the market, engaging with broker for port clearance, engaging with plant exports team for documentation requirement and would be POC for all Regional initiatives for IBF optimization and visibility.
Core responsibilities include:
- Establish and coordinate Export-Import objectives, policies, and programs within the context of the overall company plan
- Ensure Import and Export activities are effective, meeting relevant regulation, custom requirement to minimize supply disruption
- Ensures Import & Export operations costs are maintained or lower than the annual operations’ budget.
- Develop, prepare and submit relevant Export-Import reports per regulation requirement
- Maintain necessary contact with major suppliers, customers, industry associations and government representatives to ensure the achievement of Export-Import objectives
- Ensure all the activities of Export-Import comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, and ethical standards
- Create initiatives to improve business process and overall working procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in Export-Import Department.
- Ensure Supply Chain Master Data are properly maintained to support business operation
The position will be measured primarily on:
- On time ATA to Delivery
- Total Freight Cost
- Master data accuracy
Position Requirements:
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of import and export documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness to enable smoother transition of materials across borders
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of International Commercial Terms (INCO Terms)
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of applicable regulatory and compliance related guidelines or requirements on Export-Import
- Demonstrates knowledge of country tax structures and associated impact on costing
- Demonstrates knowledge of Master Data structure and maintenance
- Understand basic Supply Chain process
- Able to work with SAP and Microsoft Office
