Duty Station : Jakarta, Indonesia
Duration : Initially until 31 December 2018 with possibility of extension (Subject to availability of funds)
Monthly Allowance : Approximately IDR 9,267,183 (subject to 10% of DSA Jakarta Rate)
Closing Date : 30 October 2018
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Principal Secretary, the incumbent will perform the following duties and responsibilities: * Assist to properly record and classify letters for the Representative.
- Assist with the processing of letters received from refugees.
- Provide English translation of documents, letters as necessary from Bahasa Indonesia to English.
- Assisting in maintaining and updating Executive files.
- Perform other relevant duties as required.
Competencies: Good communication and reading skills; good computer skills; teamwork and
collaboration.
Nationality: Citizen of Indonesia; Non-citizen with Indonesian PR.
Languages: Good knowledge of English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and oral); knowledge of other UN languages is an asset.
Desirable Skills: Communication; computer; good knowledge of UNHCR's protection mandate.
Education: Be a recent graduate or current student in a graduate/undergraduate school programme from a university or higher education in Law, Social studies, Political Studies, or related disciplines and have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant or of interest to the work of the Organization.
