An attractive Product Marketing Manager (Electrics) job has just become available at a multinational electrics company.
About the Product Marketing Manager (Electrics) Role:
As the Product Marketing Manager (Electrics), you will represent the electric distribution solutions division in the country to grow the sales and market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, plan and ensure implementation of the local go-to-market and product marketing strategy including definition and communication of product value propositions, product and price positioning as well as marketing plans
- Ensure that the areas of responsibility are properly organised, staffed and directed. Build an effective, capable and high-performing organisation. Develop talent, appoint managers and review effectiveness
- Ensure achievement of established targets through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. Focus on achievement of total demand orders (ABB and third party), growth margin %, net price variance, net promoter score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and requested on-time delivery
- Develop and implement the annual marketing plan in conjunction with relevant divisions/product groups. Prepare business plans focused on business development for a defined market. Evaluate market opportunities and decide appropriate activities in line with the strategy and coordinate opportunities across local divisions and local business units where appropriate
- Ensure profitable business growth in the domestic market. Ensure balanced growth through all product lines/product groups/business units. Create demand through technical promotions, providing solutions and a value-based selling approach. Implement business unit market pricing policy
- Provide product and technical support to the sales team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. Understand customer needs in the market by visiting customers and ensure the customer satisfaction surveys are executed; analyse results and assist with corrective actions. Develop and implement product support and product training to ensure high customer satisfaction in cooperation with global Business Unit Marketing and Sales. Drive continuous improvement on NPS and ensures the resolution of customer issues
Key Requirements:
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineer (BSc, MSc), with eight or more years of experience in a dynamic industry
- Three or more years of experience in product marketing working with medium and low-voltage products, services and solutions for several segments
- Proven track record in leading and growing a business within a country
- Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of marketing and sales strategy
- Strong ability to drive and lead teams across different functions and departments
- Analytical and strategic approach
- “Game changer” and highly dynamic personality
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
