Responsibilities
- To manage the full Finance spectrum for Indonesia operations, including:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger.
- Drive timely and accurate month-end closing and reporting processes.
- Have an oversight over local corporate tax and indirect tax matters (VAT/WHT).
- In charge of statutory/special audit and tax audit (if any).
- Prepare cash flow forecasts with stakeholders' inputs for Regional Finance's funding allocation.
- Business partner with commercial stakeholders to deliver insights on financial performance and support the budgeting process
- Provide advice to internal stakeholders in relation to any new business initiatives from accounting and tax perspectives, in consultation with Regional Finance for standardization of Group policies.
- Foster skills development and professional growth of team members using coaching and hands-on learning.
- To actively contribute to continuous efforts in process improvements and establish sound internal controls and standard financial/operating procedures.
- To perform other ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Bachelor's Degree / Professional qualification in Accountancy.
- Preferably 5-6 years of overall experience with at least 3-4 years in a Big 4 accounting firm and 2 years of commercial experience (prior consumer tech or e-commerce experience will be a plus point).
- Excellent communication, people management and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous with a strong analytical mind, coupled with an ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and initiative
- Experience in Oracle Netsuite will be a plus point
