Description
We are looking for a Treasury Analyst to assist in leading, managing, and scaling the Treasury function of Ajaib Group, including sub-business units. This role will report to the Treasury Senior Manager. The right candidate has a solid understanding of treasury operations, including cash management, cash forecasting, liquidity management, and investments. Ultimately, we are looking for someone capable of defining and building world-class automated processes supporting Ajaib’s internal fiat operations and platform treasury activities.
Responsibilities
- Handle capital management on a daily basis. Forecast liquidity required for settlements and determine minimum cash operating requirements, including but not limited to stocks and stock margin brokerage settlements.
- Involve in cross-functional collaboration to ensure day-to-day operation in Treasury runs smoothly.
- Manage assets’ risk and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Generate ideas that allow for opportunities to maximize returns.
- Research transaction flows and settlement processes on new products or services, along with developing ideas for improving their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Generate daily & monthly reports and deliver them in an accurate and timely manner to the related regulators to uphold Good Corporate Governance.
- Manage payment requests through various financial institutions to ensure adherence to the company’s policies
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related disciplines.
- 3+ years’ experience in Treasury, Banking, or Finance. Experience in Banking Book Management, Assets & Liquidity Management, or Trading is preferred.
- Strong passion for Fintech, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology
- Working experience in banking, finance, internet, and/or the crypto industry is preferred
- Excellent command of English
- Must be a self-starter, attentive to detail, skilled in analytical and critical thinking. Willing to take ownership of initiatives (large and small) and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects simultaneously in a team.
- Possesses modeling experience and is well-versed in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets and other Microsoft/G-Suite product
- Genuine interest and passion in the fintech industry and emerging technologies.
