- To develop and to manage the model Equity portfolios that integrate research and analysis output while matching BNP Paribas Asset Management ("BNPP AM") Investment Strategy and Policy and the legal and other requirements of the client in order to maximize returns as compared to benchmarks.
- To ensure implementation of the models by Portfolio Managers and to support the Sales and Marketing teams where needed. Contribute to the upgrading of the investment processes
- Compliance Awareness and Knowledge: Fully understand and strictly adheres to BNPP AM's compliance policies and procedures. Update knowledge of the relevant regulatory environment and other relevant regulations - e.g. Indonesian Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisory Agency (OJK and Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX).
- Market and Company Analysis: To follow-up and to analyse the structural and cyclical development of local equity market, including sector and index trends, and to analyse their drivers. To determine and coordinate the analyst output. Organise and perform proprietary equity research. To present the results of this analysis at various forums within BNPP AM (Investment Committee)
- Stock recommendation and Portfolio Model: Based on proprietary research, to define stock recommendations and to build model Portfolios in order to maximize returns as compared to benchmarks and taking into account the allowed tracking-error.
- Performance Monitoring: To follow up and to interpret the performance of the model Equity portfolios. To adapt the model portfolios in function of new and relevant information and investment recommendations. To follow up and improve where possible the model in order to maximize the client’s return and BNPP AM profitability of the Equities portfolio.
- Investment Process Upgrading: To contribute to the upgrading of the investment process from a research, portfolio construction and risk budgeting and control viewpoint
- Commercial Support: To support BNPP AM’s commercial efforts (sales team) when requested, to represent BNPP AM’s position when requested, to make presentations, to collaborate on the development of “commercial cards” in order to enhance BNPP IP credibility and to promote BNPP AM know-how and professionalism.
- Presents Investment Information: Presents monthly and/or quarterly performance reports to clients and explains the reasons for out/under performance. Provides the market view in support of portfolio strategy and changes.
- Investments and Product Knowledge: Keeps up-to-date on investment market trends, techniques and tools that add value to investment process. Demonstrates an appropriate level of knowledge of BNPP AM’s investments, products and services.
