- This position will be reporting to the Global COO and CEO of Indonesia.
- Review legal documents, research legal issues, advises on regulatory requirements, and other legal-related matters
- Lead, manage and grow a team of lawyers and domain experts (GRC and Privacy) across Indonesia and Singapore
- Work closely to provide advise to product and engineering teams on product development life cycle.
- Support the Privacy team in their efforts to comply with applicable privacy/ data protection laws and standards.
- Work with managers of other departments to provide timely support for commercial, product, marketing, tax and other related matters.
- Indonesian qualified lawyer with 12-15 years of experience and exposure to Singapore jurisdiction (experience in Singapore is a plus)
- 2 years of experience as an in-house counsel for a technology start-up
- Thrive in a fast-paced, highly intellectual and service-oriented environment
- Strong experience in working with international counterparts coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership role in managing the legal team across Indonesia, Singapore, and Australia
- An excellent command of English and Indonesian languages is a must
