Scope of Work : Solicit group, individual and other business directly and jointly with others through the execution of action plans. Within established parameters quote and negotiate prices with customer representatives confirming reservations by letter and drawing up contracts; to close the transaction. Upon closing, coordinate and follow-up with the concerned resort departments to ensure delivery of exceptional guest services. Prepare reports as required by Six Senses Resorts & Spas Policy and as directed, compile and input market intelligence information. Determine and recommend prospective customers by analyzing all available information, participating in and conducting customer interviews and preparing customer action plans. Train the sales team accordingly in preparation of appropriate sale strategies. Determine appropriate market segments towards maximizing hotel revenues.
Responsibility in maximizing the occupancy of conference and banquettes at the resort. Create sales targets and networks with corporate clients, airlines, tourist offices and related fields. Observe the market for relevant trends, monitoring competitors and the tide of events.Responding appropriately through social media adhering to the Six Senses Social media guidelines. Contribute to the price strategy aligned with the revenue manager for villa pricing and promotion.
Qualification : - Master's or Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or Revenue Management.
- Five or more years of experience in a hospitality sales and marketing senior role.
- Advanced Microsoft software knowledge
- Advanced selling skills with familiarity with emotional intelligence.
- Business leadership, cross-cultural work environments exposure, and critical problem analysis/resolution skills.
- Marketing education in marketing strategies, advertising, client relations, social media, and selling with a combination of proven activities.
- Recognizing current trends, marketplace attitudes, and company intelligence.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Other languages would be beneficial.
