Job Responsibilities and Duties:

With a dual reporting line to the Underwriting Manager and the Regional Head of Compliance & Privacy, you will be the point-person for Risk, Compliance and Privacy matters in Indonesia.

● Ensure effective boarding processes for new merchants including due-diligence and know-your-customer (KYC) checks, merchants' processing statements and financials analysis, and liaison with acquiring banks

● Perform risk assessments and data analysis related to fraud and chargeback for all merchants and monitor the risk exposure

● Follow up on suspicious and deficient transactions, provide data support and verification

● Manage all merchant escalation issues, conduct investigations for fraud risk, legal related issues and provide efficient and immediate solutions

● Handle and resolve existing merchants' underwriting matters on a daily basis

● Research and maintain current knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements on Compliance, Risk and Fraud, Risk Management policies and procedures, and ensure adherence to such standards

● Review and update the Compliance management framework and conduct Compliance Test and Review

● Conduct Compliance monitoring

● Develop policies and procedures to comply with current regulatory requirements

● Be the point of contact with local regulators in Indonesia

● Support other ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

● Diploma/Degree qualification with relevant Risk and Compliance experience

● Good written and verbal communication skill in Bahasa Indonesia and English to liaise with Bahasa-speaking stakeholders

● Fast learner and readiness to work with busy schedules and tight deadlines

● Good analytical skills and meticulous in detailed work

● Pro-active, resourceful and takes initiative
