As a Chief of Staff, you will work as a trusted advisor to the the CEO as his right hand and force-multiplier, working closely together across a wide range of topics.
The position is a unique opportunity for exceptional talent to fast-track their career, by getting exposed to every aspect of a fast scaling startup, unlike any other role.

The role is designed to transition over time into a senior management position within the organisation, by leading an entire function or BU.

Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:
  • Spearheading special projects, for example: leading a metrics overhaul, doing customer research on an adjacent business opportunity or leading the search for a key executive hire. These could be within a specific function/team or multi-functional
  • Filling in gaps in the organization, for example: helping our BD team on the partnerships front, supporting our marketing team in building their analytics & data warehouse infrastructure or deep diving into analysing our unit economics
  • Manage our quarterly OKR and annual planning processes, including our weekly OKR sync
  • Setting up or improving systems and processes across the entire scope of our operations
  • Serve as a proxy for the CEO by attending meetings in place of the CEO and ensure action points coming out of key meetings are being implemented
  • Create investor updates, pitch decks, memos and presentations on behalf of the CEO
  • Act as the communication arm for the CEO within the company and towards external stakeholders (investors, clients, customers)
Requirements

We are mainly looking for people who:
  • have a track record of multiple promotions within a short time span in fast growing mid & large sized startups or have already worked in the CEO office for 100+ FTE startups
  • want to step out from their prestigious position in high demanding and selective companies, such as tier-1 consulting firms or investment banks, to move to a job which can give them more meaning, with a very wide and ever changing range of responsibilities. That is, no day will look the same
We also have a strong bias for hiring people who can “ ”. That is, who have the drive and qualities to step up a role, and can already demonstrate us the capacity to become a future Leader within RevoU.

More specifically we are looking for the following skills:

Problem solving skills: you will be expected to help the CEO make better and quicker decisions across a wide range of topics. To do so, you will need to excel in creating decision frameworks, outlining possible scenarios, detailing pros/cons or trade-offs and coming up with your own recommendations.

Structured about how to prioritize work and time: you will be working at any given time on multiple projects, very different among themselves. You will need to have the ability to prioritize and be extremely efficient with your time

Highest standards: impeccable attention to details and high standards approach to any of your work output. You can read more on what we mean by having a culture of high standards. The quality of your work and outputs will need to inspire every team and employee you will interact with * Ability to get things done: the role will combine highly strategic work but also a lot of day-to-day lower level execution. You will need to enjoy getting your hands dirty and display an extreme sense of ownership in each of the projects assigned
  • Communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written): as per the responsibilities outlined above, you will be acting as the communication arm for the CEO, creating memos and presentation on his behalf. Together with it interacting with almost all teams and leaders. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (Bahasa + English) are required.
  • Highest level of integrity and trustworthiness: you will have access to all the most delicate information and are expected to act as a trusted advisor to the CEO. Highest level of integrity is a conditio sine qua non
  • Research skills: you will be expected to spend a lot of time, especially in the beginning, in researching the market (not only ID but worldwide) to help you come up with the best go to market strategy
