Job Purpose
The purpose of this job is to manage & introduce the portfolio of all Mass Market products and activities so that the brand maintains a competitive healthy equity and grows profitably
Key Accountabilities
- Regional Product portfolio network (Interiors) - provide input to SESA strategy development and planning and implement agreed priorities and activities
- Country Marketing Team - actively build and drive the SESA Interior agenda including product launches and communication activities, ensuring alignment with Brand architecture and delivery of KPI's
- To support Head of Marketing in development and implementation of the SESA Interior paints strategy. Giving active input on country specific trends, needs and insights on Interior paint to ensure that the Mass & low tier Interior product platform stays relevant and compelling to the consumer and ahead of competition
- Supporting regional Interior projects by actively contributing country's information and working in multifunctional teams
- Deliver high quality and timely local input on Mass & low Interior consumers, customers, influencers or painters
- Manage Interior product platform and Manage the implementation of the SESA brand architecture for Mass & low Interior and manage any related implications (migrate, phase out, re-name, launch) with minimum disruption to the business
- Monitor and analyse costs and price movements. Make price adjustment recommendations based on local information
- Together with Sales implement, monitor and course-correct price strategy
- Work with Sales for the channel strategy for Mass & Low tier Interior products
- Implement Brand Equity and Marketing activities of Interior platform and SESA Mass & Low Tier Interior communication campaign and translate to local needs
- Write a strong media brief for Mass & Low Interior brand considering 360 touch points Work with Customer Marketing team to deliver local activation program that is aligned with SESA program calendar.
- Measure, evaluate and course correct all media activities. Deliver together with sales to ensure the sales and marketing activity plan are well integrated
- Develop colour collaterals for all Mass & Low Interior product lines, ensure the collaterals are at sufficient level to support sales and satisfy consumer requirement.
- Effective management of brand budget and achievement of brand target revenue, Grow Mass & Low Tier Interior product platform and ensure healthy margins and profitability
- Provide inputs and insights to business analysis and financial analysis of Mass & Low Tier Interior products
- Contribute to a smooth country marketing planning process for Mass & Low Tier Interior
- Constant monitoring of identified performance areas (revenue, profits, share) for Mass & Low Tier Interior and escalate to Head of Brand and Consumer Marketing when there is significant deviation from brand target budget
