Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, build and maintain new features and components in React that enhance our application and service offerings
  • Improve application performance, predictability and traceability by implementing state management with Redux
  • Improve and enhance existing code base for reusability, readability, and scalability
  • Generate technical documentation to communicate architecture and system design to other engineers
  • Build and execute unit and integration tests to improve application code quality
  • Partner closely with Product Management and Designers to build impactful and fluid customer experiences
  • Analyze requirements and use cases, decomposing them into specific technical, functional, and implementation tasks
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily scrums, and sprint retrospectives
  • Mentor engineers on best practices to ensure delivery of high quality code
  • Lead pair programming sessions and technical workshops
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative/technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering) OR equivalent experience
  • 2+ years building and maintaining web applications
  • 4+ years experience in one or more modern web application stacks - Vue, React, TypeScript, SCSS, webpack, etc.
  • Experience with Redux
