- Develop, build and maintain new features and components in React that enhance our application and service offerings
- Improve application performance, predictability and traceability by implementing state management with Redux
- Improve and enhance existing code base for reusability, readability, and scalability
- Generate technical documentation to communicate architecture and system design to other engineers
- Build and execute unit and integration tests to improve application code quality
- Partner closely with Product Management and Designers to build impactful and fluid customer experiences
- Analyze requirements and use cases, decomposing them into specific technical, functional, and implementation tasks
- Investigate and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily scrums, and sprint retrospectives
- Mentor engineers on best practices to ensure delivery of high quality code
- Lead pair programming sessions and technical workshops
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative/technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering) OR equivalent experience
- 2+ years building and maintaining web applications
- 4+ years experience in one or more modern web application stacks - Vue, React, TypeScript, SCSS, webpack, etc.
- Experience with Redux
