Sales Manager (Government & Corporate Segment)
A Sales Manager, or Sales Department Manager, is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the sales department. You will also be in charge of managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation

What you will be doing:
Establishes, maintains, and uses his/her library of reference materials, periodicals, texts and sales leads: stay abreast of market trends and hotel selling techniques.
Researches the market on a continuing basis to determine where business comes from, what is the influence, who the hotel’s clients are, how they normally arrive in the city, etc.
Maintains close contacts within the community and in neighbouring marketing areas, with airlines, travel agencies, commercial houses, private club, professional associates, etc to procure new business for the hotel. This will be done by means of personal sales call (a minimum of 5 call per day), telephone contacts and written communication, and reporting daily basis thru daily report.
Organizes and promotes, in cooperation with the Food and Beverage Department, special project such as Balls, Tournaments, Exhibition, Parties, Gastronomic Festivities etc to stimulate the Food & Beverage sales within the community.
Coordinates with Front Office, Food and Beverage and Housekeeping Departments in handling of room reservations and customer’s inquiries, requests and complaints.
Is responsible to optimal sales and maximize hotel revenue, and profitability to achieve the budget.
Your experience and skills include:
Degree in Hotel Management school, or general Business school.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Sales Manager in Jakarta, Indonesia
Knowledge of the concepts and evaluation of market analysis processes.
A clear understanding of hotel industry is necessary as well as analytical capabilities, experience in study cases, market research and studies with mathematical background;
Analytical tools
- Excel advanced user (most of the formulas; database knowledge, pivot tables);
- Revenue Management System (Amadeus RMS or EZ RMS).
Technologies and distribution tools
- PMS (Opera or FOLS, Fidelio V7, Hogatex Starlight, Hotix).
- CRS (TARS data and resa main screens) and distribution channels.
Communication skills : PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
Languages: Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesia
