An excellent Finance Manager job has just arisen at a multinational agriculture fishing and forestry (commodities trading) company in Jakarta. In this job, you will be responsible for operations finance and commercial finance for the company along with other ad hoc issues.
About the Finance Manager Role:
This position will be a critical role within the finance/accounting division reporting directly to the Managing Director and be a strategic partner to the business line heads in managing the business. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a multinational company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly/quarterly/year-end closing and reporting including managing of annual audit
- Annual budget and monitoring financial performance against budget
- Financial planning and management
- Position management (trading, credit limits) in conjunction with Managing Director
- Manage of accounts payable and receivable
- Manage cash flow and banking activities including negotiation with banks on facilities
- Taxation including corporate tax
- Set up management reporting and analysing tools to support the business
- Develop and maintain proper controls, policies, and procedures
- Insurances
- Keep up to date with legal requirements in field of taxation and employee benefits and advise senior management
- Effective cost management
- Ensure the procedures are complied with by all staff reporting to you
- Supervise the preparation of the salaries for clerical/minor staff respectively
- Prepare executive salary recoveries, credit card payments, reimbursements of medical, entertainment expenses
- Maintain and post all private ledger transactions and extract TB on a monthly basis
- Maintain the fixed assets of the company - monthly depreciation entries, accounting additions/disposals
Key Requirements:
- 10 or more years of experience with strong exposure to overall finance management
- Good knowledge of Indonesia GAAP (PSAK) and IFRS
- Proficiency in SAP is a must
- Strong communication skills
- Leadership skills in managing and coaching a team
- Good knowledge of local corporate, tax and other regulatory compliance
- CPA certifications is a plus
