Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Field Marketing Manager combines a deep knowledge of:
  • clients, how they buy and are influenced, and through which channels, with priority Market Products and lead offerings and how they uniquely solve for what's important to the client
  • industry trends and where the market is heading
  • clients' transformation agenda differentiated by client buyer roles and domains
  • IBM's thought leadership and expertise areas
The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for understanding what differentiates our products from the competition, how best to personalize the narrative for the local market; and how to accelerate full-funnel buyer journeys from interest to conversion to opportunity to sustainable revenue and market share growth.

This role is responsible for collaboration with the business to generate demand for IBM products and solutions to accelerate growth by leveraging data and account insights. In addition, this role will:
  • Demonstrate IBM Tech Expertise & POV with Clients - Demonstrate how IBM Technology addresses Client, Market, and Industry trends and challenges;
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technology trends. Leverage broad and deep technology and industry expertise to engage decision-makers and key influencers with highly contextual insights into the benefits of emerging technology adoption and competitive perspective.
  • Advise on the value proposition for IBM Consulting solutions
The Field Marketing Manager will need to work closely with the business, the Indonesia marketing team, and the Asia Pacific Field Marketing team.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in business technology setting.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesia’s economic trends, technology vendors and business industries
  • Understanding technology solutions and the competitive landscape is required
  • Client-Centricity / Understand the Buyer - Develop a deep understanding of a client set and their market in relation to a BU or Industry offering value proposition. Reset when changing Client or Offering scope.
  • Ability to work in tight collaboration with sales reps, business partners, and sales leaders to capture market demand and elevate the IBM brand.
  • Strong history of collaboration across marketing disciplines to create and optimize a programmatic approach–aligned with business strategy–to reach clients and partners.
