As our Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating the visual and interactive elements of a product based on product and business requirements. You will define design requirements, vision using creativity and methodologies to design scalable products or features. You will work alongside other Senior and Junior Designer, Product Managers, Business, to help Amartha to deliver innovative and delightful end to end user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Translate stakeholder vision & expectations into design vision and interfaces.
- Define design requirements for large to mega design builds.
- Conducting competitive analysis of existing products in the marketplace to identify opportunities for improvement
- Creating user interface designs for Amartha products, including the development of prototypes for testing with users.
- Conducting usability studies to identify areas for improvement in existing products or to test new product concepts.
- Ensuring that designs meet industry standards for usability, durability, and appearance
- Help junior designers to keep them passing our bar (design standard, UI & UX design, visual design).
- Working with Engineering team to ensure that designs can be implemented effectively in code
- Able to manage project timeline and deliver your design on time.
- A strong track record and understanding of visual design (3+ years of experience in the field)
- A portfolio showing & demonstrating your work & craftsmanship
- You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions.
- You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics.
- You are a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Self-starter, someone who takes the initiative, can work without supervision, and conduct projects independently
- Proven experience in all phases of the design process, including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing
- Great technical understanding of how to build systems, UI patterns and work smarter around technical limitations
- Experience designing for commonly used device web (desktop & mobile), Android, and IOS
- Experience building/designing SaaS products would be a plus.
- Familiar with collaborative design tools such as Figma, Maze.
